First Aid & Fire Safety
In the result of any accident a first aid box can be located in the kitchen and in serious situations please inform The Meeting Space staff members.
If the fire alarm sounds please exit the building immediately through the front door (directions are marked above all doorways) and make your way over to the fire assembly point on the Green across the road. Please ensure you are as far away from the building as possible. Do not go back into the building.
Only when The Meeting Space staff have checked through the building and ensured the premise is safe can you enter the building again.
On the day of your booking you are responsible for the maintenance and order of the rooms you have booked. The room and the surrounding areas (hallway, toilets, kitchen) will be cleaned and setup in the layout you have requested. A cleanup and room reset can be requested however if you have not specified this please leave the building how it was provided to you.
Damage to any of the equipment provided (TV screens, extension leads, flipcharts, chairs - our chairs have a maximum weight of 18 stone) will incur costs based on the damage done. If on arrival you notice any damage it is important that you highlight it to a member of ‘The Meeting Space’ team.
Whilst we are happy for you to bring your own lunch on the premises, please be mindful of others and not consume any strong smelling food such as fish and chips.
Smoking is not permitted within the building or directly outside the entrance.
The Meeting Space is located within WigWag at Martindale House, The Green, Ruddington, Nottingham, NG11 6HH (keep a look out for a pink WigWag sign on the front of the building).
Parking is not provided by The Meeting Space but there is sufficient free parking outside the building and within the surrounding area.
Cancellations can be made by email to email@example.com or over the phone by calling 0115 824 2310 and will be confirmed by email.
Cancellations made 3 weeks prior before your booking date will result in no charge.
Cancellations made 2 weeks prior will incur a fee of 25% of the booking cost.
Cancellations made 1 week prior will incur a fee of 50% of the booking cost.
Cancellations made the day before or the day of your booking will incur the full cost being charged.
The Meeting Space reserves the right to cancel any bookings if payment is not received.
